Bay View Brew Haus license transfer approved

May 11, the city’s Licenses Committee unanimously approved the transfer of the existing Class “B” Tavern license at 2535 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. to current property owner Steve Fix, who bought the property in February with intent to open a brewpub on the first floor, keeping the second floor as a banquet hall. Fourteenth District Alderman Tony Zielinski said there was “strong support” for the license after a “pretty lengthy discussion” at the April 8 neighborhood meeting on site. No one testified in opposition.
