New book and music store in old library

Bay View Books & Music moved into 2658 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. last month, the storefront formerly occupied by Betty Busateri’s Music, Music, Music. Bill Frickensmith owns the store, previously Recycled Records, Books & Music in the Prospect Avenue Mall (1995-June 2006) with an incarnation more recently as Bargain Books, 4731 S. Packard Ave., in Cudahy. The bookstore is still being stocked with inventory, but they’re already getting walk-in traffic. There is a one-third-off-everything sale through Memorial Day. Bay View Books & Music sells “almost new or used” CDs, DVDs, LP records, and books, featuring literature, arts, history, philosophy, and cookbooks. The store accepts cash and credit cards.
