April 28, 2009

Organizers announced the sixth annual Bay View Bash is Saturday, Sept. 19, 11am-10pm. Milwaukee’s largest neighborhood street festival will take place on Kinnickinnic Avenue from Potter Street to Clement Avenue. For the second consecutive year, the Bay View Historical Society will host the Bay View Bash, and the theme of the event is “30 Years and Still Rocking Bay View.” The 2009 Bay View Bash will feature three live music stages with more than 20 bands, a children’s area with games, clowns and entertainment, a demonstration area featuring a fashion show, and over 100 Bay View-area food, art, and novelty vendors. The 2009 Bay View Bash expects up to 20,000 attendees. Proceeds from the 2009 Bash will go to the Bay View Historical Society for renovation, maintenance, and preservation of the historic Beulah Brinton House. Their mission is to maintain a sense of community by conserving, celebrating, and sharing Bay View’s rich heritage. For more information, visit bayviewhistoricalsociety.org.
