Save the County Grounds….Again!

The Milwaukee County Board Committee on Economic and Community Development is holding a Public Hearing on the proposed sale of the Milwaukee County Grounds to UWM for an Engineering Campus.

For all who can and want to have a voice on the future of the Monarch Butterfly Migration habitat and the impact of the auxiliary development plans proposed by UWM should attend.

Express your views on these plans and look at alternative designs that would accommodate the wildlife.

To help with the preservation effort, the heads of the Park People, Sierra Club, Milwaukee Riverkeepers, Preserve Our Parks, UWM Downtown, and Friends of the Monarch Trail will be there.

Add your concerns and comments by attending this very important meeting:

Wednesday, March 25, 2009, 6-8pm
