BVNA annual meeting at RDI Stages
January 30, 2009
The Bay View Neighborhood Association (BVNA) will hold its annual meeting Feb. 26, 7pm, at RDI Stages, 2525 E. Crawford Ave., in St. Francis. Housed in two World War II-vintage factory buildings, RDI Stages is Wisconsin’s first and only independent stage rental and movie studio complex. General manager, partner, and Bay View resident Janine Sijan Rozina will discuss the local impact of the film industry and what it means for the Bay View community.
The annual BVNA meeting is open to the members and prospective members and is an opportunity to observe or join the organization. BVNA will discuss highlights from its annual report, a summary of events looking forward, and nominate and award board members. Board positions up for renewal are at-large and district representative positions and chairpersons of the Environment and Transportation, Public Spaces, Safety, and Communications Committees.
Rozina will address the group and take questions, followed by the board election results. A facility tour of RDI Stages will conclude the evening’s events.
The neighborhood organization was founded in 2004 and has over 150 members: bayviewneighborhood.org.
