Kosi Park rink to open Jan. 12

This is a pilot program, and if this is successful, the program might be extended to more hours next year.

Weather permitting, the dates are:

January 12/13 Monday and Tuesday 3-7 pm

January 19/20 Monday and Tuesday 3-7 pm

January 26/27 Monday and Tuesday 3-7 pm

February 2/3 Monday and Tuesday 3-7 pm

Skating will be in a designated are on the northeastern section of the Kosciuszko lagoon. All skating (and even hot Mayan cocoa) will be free.

A limited number of skates will be available for rent. Two warm-up/changing tents will be available and a skating guard.
