Gokey to perform in Milwaukee Saturday

Milwaukee-native singer Danny Gokey will celebrate the release of his new album with a performance at the historic Turner Hall Ballroom Saturday, March 6.

Gokey’s debut album, “My Best Days” (19 Recordings/RCA Nashville), was released Tuesday.

Tickets to the show will be available at the door starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $12 , which includes admission and a copy of the new CD. Gokey will be available for a signing after the performance.

Gokey came in third place as a contestant on the eight season of Fox’s reality show “American Idol.”
