Help decorate the Compass community tree at Sven’s

You may have noticed several Christmas trees in the Sven’s Cafe parking lot, 2699 S. KK. One of them is the Bay View Compass community tree. We invite interested community members-this includes you-to help us fill its branches with ornaments by Dec. 11.

Make an ornament from scratch or donate an existing one, but remember that it will hang outside. Consult with Sven’s staff to find out which tree has been adopted by the Compass.

Our tree, like our community, is ecumenical and eclectic, so make your ornament for Christmas, Festivus, Hanukkah, Festival of Lights, Kwanzaa, the New Year, in honor of a loved one, or simply an aesthetic statement.
