Stop & Smell the Herbs and Roses at Boerner Gardens
Free Special Event with Regular Admission

(Milwaukee) – Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Drive in Hales Corners, announces Stop and Smell the Herbs and Roses on Saturday, September 13 from 10am to 4pm.

The Herb Society of America-WI unit, Waukesha Rose Society, and Boerner Botanical Gardens have partnered to provide the community this great event featuring herbs and roses.  Guests will learn about general rose care and organic rose growing.  They will also be able to taste and learn about edible flowers like roses and learn about floral arranging with herbs and roses.

Event Schedule:

10:15am…….Drying Herbs and Roses
11:00am…….David Zlesak Talk from Earth Kind Roses
1-4:00pm……Rose Show
1:30pm………Sweet Scents of Herbs & Roses with Jane Cole
2:30pm………Rose & Herb Flower Arranging
