Sexual Assaults

July 2, 2012

MPD District Six officers and Sensitive Crime Detectives are investigating two sexual assaults in Bay View that strongly appear to be related. The victims were approached on the street as they were walking to their destination.

The first occurred June 4 at 11:15pm in the 500 block of E. Linus Street. The second occurred June 23 at 12:30am in the 3000 block of E. Linus St.

The perpetrator of both crimes is described as a white male approximately 30-years-old, 5’11”, with a thin build, and a deep voice. He was wearing a dark, hooded outer-garment with the hood up.

In both crimes the suspect approached the victim from behind, and reached under the victim’s skirt.

In both crimes the perpetrator was pursued by either the victim or a witness and in both attacks the perpetrator fled when the victim began to scream or to call out.

If you have information, call the Milwaukee Police Department, (414) 933-4444.

So, did they ever catch this guy? I heard about it on TV, and then nothing. I hope it’s not one of those things where he has to commit more crimes before they stumble on the right guy.
