Guanajuato Restaurant expanding

Julio Lopez, owner of Guanajuato Restaurant, 2301 S Howell Ave., purchased the vacant building at 2317 S. Howell Ave. in Bay View and will relocate there later this year. Lopez plans to begin operating the new location in December after renovations are completed.

“Mr. Lopez and his wife have indicated they are excited about the development in the area and wanted to purchase this building to continue their plans to expand and be a part of the momentum along S. Kinnickinnic and now S. Howell Ave. in Bay View,” said District 14 Alderman Zielinski who represents Bay View. “And it’s always a positive for any business or commercial district when a vacant building is renovated to house a thriving business.”
