New Legislation

The following legislation was enacted by the Milwaukee Common Council at its most recent meeting of May 22, 2012:

File 101472 permits a re-zoning requested by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for future development.

Files 111486 allows for expansion of Sciortino’s Bakery on Brady Street.

File 111326 sets small business participation requirements for contracts receiving direct city assistance of $1 million or more.

File 111516 allows the city to begin sale of compressed natural gas to the public.

File 110384 relates to the regulation of precious metal and gem dealers.

Other files introduced today were assigned to committee and will be a part of the next regular committee cycle, beginning with the Licenses Committee meeting on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
