Next Milwaukee ArtBeat July 31

The second Milwaukee ArtBeat show is Friday, July 31 at the Hide House, 2625 S. Greeley St.

ArtBeat, brainchild of Milwaukee native singer/songwriter and television producer Annie B., showcases the work of local artists. It also introduces their personalities and creative processes to the audience through live interviews conducted on stage.

July’s show will feature the following artists: burlesque dancer and special effects/make-up artist Kai De Vicious (myspace.com/kaidevicious); spoken word and visual artist, poet, and photographer Darlin Nikki (myspace.com/unstitchthesun); and actress, martial arts, and photographer Alisa Strautmanis (myspace.com/strautmanis).

Doors open at 6:30pm, seating begins at 7:30pm, and the show starts at 8pm. An $8 donation will include a glass of wine and appetizers.
